So then, whats all this laptop mixing all about then?
I've got stacks of unmixed music on CD but no decks, and want to throw together a mix or two, so how is it done?
What software would I need to do this, are there programs especially for this... Ableton maybe?
And how exactly do you do it? Is it just a case of uploading your tunes onto the hard drive and then drag'n'drop them into your chosen software, lining them up etc, or is it alot more complex than that? (I expect the later!)
Is there any decent software that will do this and doesn't require alot of skill?
I know some people will call this cheating, but it's purely for my own use as a bit of fun really as I've got a load of CDs and it would be good to make a few mixes out of them to keep on CD or maybe post up!
