Noodle @ Moog
Saturday 13th October
DJ Miles (Modern Love // Manchester)
Margovan (Dead Cert // London)
Residents: DJ Weiss & Matt Hinton
free entry
Miles has been on the scene for quite some time and anyone who has witnessed him DJ will be able to tell you about his ability to fuse anything and everything into the deepest kind of dancefloor devastation. His DJ set at Sonar 2002 was described as the unexpected highlight of the entire festival. A DJ that changes the rules, always employing his incredible box of delights in some new, unexpected way. Miles is also sometimes known as one half of electronic operators Pendle Coven (with releases on Manchester's Modern Love Records), as a DJ for the City Centre Offices and Morr Music labels and as part of the Baked Goods crew - his barely believable knowledge of everything from Detroit Techno through to classic Electro, House, Jazz, dub, breaks, dubstep, hardcore, jungle, IDM, and experimentalism has always imbued his unique style with sheer brilliance - classics mingled with fresh whites - dropping in maverick, entirely unexpected ways.
Justin Margovan returns to Noodle with his distinct and original sound. Since his last visit he has taken the tough groove driven style to south Spain's Oh Coruna club, and he's been busy in the studio with his Dead Cert collaboration. He continues to rise on the London circuit with his 3 deck scratch mixing and an ear for the perfect tune. Prepare yourself for some sublime beats from a future master.
