Headlining this week is Heartthrob in the latest installment of our regular M-NUS parties. Debuting this week is Jesse Siminski, a native of Northern Michigan who will be playing LIVE in Wax. One of the hottest acts around right now, Heartthrob's live show has seen him play all across the hot spots of Europe and beyond such as Fabric, Mutek, Watergate and Batofar..

In 1999 Jesse moved to New York City where he continued to experiment with music as well as contemporary art. New York's small minimal scene brought him to Magda and Troy Pierce, who would become friends and sources of inspiration (musical and otherwise). Shortly after Richie Hawtin moved into the neighborhood and a friendship with the Minus family was established. Heartthrob has releases and remixes on Minus, Underline, Contexterrior, Alphahouse, UnFoundsound, MoS Ferry, Get Physical, Wagon Repair, Tora Tora Tora, Phonocult, amongst others and he is a regular guest at venues such as Mutek (New York City), Fabric (London), Popkomm at Watergate (Berlin), Volt (Amsterdam) and Batofar (Paris).

Arriving in to Dublin fresh from remixing one of his cult favourites, Depeche Mode, and remixes of 'Baby Kate' still blowing up, this is going to be another maximum rocking minimal M-NUS night at Electric City. On before Heartthrob we welcome back from the snowy slopes of Austria, Geoff Walters. A frequent guest at EC and many other Dublin club over the years. Jet-Setting-Jeff has just returned to Innsbruck for his yearly quest to prove that there is the more to their club life than Yodeling re-edits of Falco. We are sure running a weekly night over there can be tough but a heavy snowfall means a heavy dancefloor and thankfully this season has been one of the heaviest on record! Expect him to drop some avalanches from David K, John Tejada and Konrad Black in the build up.

Edward Brennan will be kicking things off for the first hour or so. Ever the busy bee, Eddie will be heading out to Bydgoszcz, Poland on Saturday week to play at the Magnetic party.
