Have just got a new novation KS5...beautiful trance sound and also does the dirty too......whats anyone elses fav bit of kit, anyone sequencing with a RM1x????

Ah yes id love to get the rack along with a virus b and micro q. These are my aims.

I tried out all of these plus much moire, but these three REALLY stood out. Microq was harsh and crunchy but in a really sharp digital way. Virus was fuzzy and wicked as fuk and the k-station really had some uplifting push noises, plus a patch that sounded just like the one is mass effect - alphascan.

I've got the a-station which i always find really hard to control in the mixdown... tend's to flood out other freqencys. Strange bit of kit. My fave has to be my Virus B. Just got the new O/s and slapped in loads of new sound banks. Phat as.

I sequence with an RM1x. Love that blue box! People bash the onboard sounds but I have made over 50 songs that sound quite good, methinks. you just have to be patient and magle the sound to get what you are looking for.

My other kit is:
Roland jv1010 with 4 exp boards- anyone know if this sounds different than the xv?

EMU XL-1

I am about to purchase an Audity 2000 and Orbit 3. I like the EMU sound.

I am just learning how to use another sound module with the RM, so we will see how it goes!

i sequence with my RS7000, controlling my Juno, pulse,basstation and KorgMS2000. the RS7000 is really a beast once you delve into it a bit. :lol:
