Bit of a shock hearing about this today, we had him at Wednesday for a few years, good player but was struggling with injuiries for most of his time with us.

Yeah couldn't believe it when i heard this in the pub yesterday..
Seen him play many at time from his days at Celtic...

Real shame..... could have been a great player if it wasnt for the injuries.
And he was playing some of the best football of his career this season as well.

35 years old,thats feckin young especially for a footballer who is professional just shows it can happen to anyone was it an heart attack?

dont think anyone reallys knows yet for sure.
He apparently had a seizure on the pitch and lost consicousness (sp) but thats all i have heard so far.

happened to a boyfriend of my cousin in ireland, playing for a pub team one day and dropped dead, harsh.
