right ok

i want to hook up my electronic drums to work with reason 4

basically i have got it to work with a nn-19 and i can record me drumming with a sample that is at different keys on different pads.

but wat i want is to use the nnxt and assign different samples to each pad.

here lies the problem

the nnxt requires a key hit signal of 6ms or more in order for the action to register

so wat happens is you get a random chance of hearing the sound as u hit the pad.

searched the internet for hours trying to sort this out

and not had any luck really.

although there is this page which furth er down a program is mentioned that extends the midi signals by 10 ms so the nnxt would therfore register them fine.

i tried installing this but it didnt work.

can any one help?

heres the page

http://multipart-mixed.com/drums/nnxt.html

need to fix this, or does anyone know that it works with other programs?

theres a few things im unsure about also as to which control surface to file the drums under , as the actual drums arent listed

last time i classed it under standard midi keyboard or something

any help much appreciated

could you use bomes midi transltor, hot keys or midi yoke to help?

i'm using these with a trigger finger and ableton to trigger samples, nagavite round the browsers and that

i'm not sure how this would work with reason though

and maybe none of this would work at all because its not something i have not got my head round completely :_(
