I've had the gear for years now (decks and xone 62), but it's nice to finally have it set up in my new apartment... when I was subletting recently it wasn't really an option unfortunately. It cost a small fortune for me to have it all shipped from Montreal, but worth every penny!
ooh,I needed an excuse to instal the software for my camera

my decks and mixer, proped up on a coffee table, stood on a long wooden box.
just checking to see if that pic worked...(it did)
here's a few more angles,to show how ****ing shoddy my set up is.
here's a front view with amp and tapedeck in the newspaper rack bit.

records in the large wooden box thingy, which is the base of the whole thing.

more records stuffed into a pink otterman.

I couldn't find anywhere decent for my keyboard. So it's kind of stacked on the box it came in,balenced precariously on the printer,on 2 bedside cabenits.

a few more tune and spare amp.

I don't give a **** what anyone says, techno sounds better coming out of a dodgy set up that's falling over all the time :)

that pioneer djm 400 is the BEST all round mixer i ever used... its bloody great for scratching and the effects beat the crap out of the 600. tremendous mixer. buy it now. but not if you mix on three.
is that a studded collar in the background or a tamborine?
is that a studded collar in the background or a tamborine?
cm'ere biyatch i shall demonstrate.
its a tamba pete. we have egg shakers, maracas, bongos, congas, boomwhackas, cuica, guiro, woodblocks and cowbells in the studio for studnents who dont play an instrument but want to whack something and be on a recording and have fun. the tamba is in the room because its somthing to pick up and they look cool.
