Sir Alex was probably right to say that the overall consistency of European referees is better than in this country, there are always exceptions though

Well if you go off the size of Europe compared to us then fair play.

But some european referees sound like they have swallowed the whistle in some games and lets not be forgetting the italian referees and various others who have been done for accepting bungs..
