London Coalition Against Poverty:
Solidarity: LCAP works in solidarity with people to help them organise against economic oppression, and to defend and extend all our rights to decent housing, and wages and benefits we can live on.
Social Change: LCAP will use existing laws to achieve our goals, but we do not limit ourselves to what the state says we can have. We think everyone should have control over their own lives.
Action: LCAP will use whatever tactics we and our allies think are appropriate in order to achieve our goals, including but not limited to direct action.
Independence: LCAP is an independent coalition of activists, campaigning groups, and advice and rights workers. We are not a political party, charity, or religious group.
Sticking Together: LCAP is open, democratic, and flexible. We will not tolerate bullying, discrimination, or harassment towards any of our members or those we work with.
