xboard help

Just got an xboard49 but canot get any sound out of it, installed drivers and software, tried it in nuendo and FL with variouse vst's. It registers when i turn 1 of the knobs but doesnt detect any keystrokes. any ideas?

Also i proteusX2 with it installed fine but when i try to autherise it it asks for the cd which is in the drive and it says it cand read it :(

Im not sure what you mean. It is a midi controller, not a synth. You need to assign a vst instrument to the controller to get sound.
