thought this would be of interest here.
ive just set up my laptop as a vst host taking a ton of processing power away from my pc
using a program called "fxteleport" which basically runs as a vst host over a LAN network - no latency at all as your daw software will compensate if it has PDC

also using a little program called "synrgy" which lets me use my pc mouse and keyboard on the laptop simply by pushing my mouse off the side of my main monitor(kinda like a remote desktop)!! this is outstanding whilst also running fx teleport and uses up little or no visible network bandwidth.

just thought some of you that havent quite updated to 5,000 quad core x64 22 million gigs of ram, would have an interest in these little gems
