Has any of you guys tried building a Hackintosh yet?
For those of you that are unaware, it is possible to run Mac OSx software on PC Hardware now.
Im doing it as a little project over the next few days. Cant wait to have Logic 8 without having to pay silly money for real mac hardware.
Its the hardware thats worth the money IMO
but good luck with it!

I do agree somewhat.
However Intel mac's are PC's. Apple actualy realised there was more power to be had from intel.
Now I havent used logic yet, and if i love it enough, I will probably go get a real mac, (If my Hack isnt stable)
have you checked out the OSX86 project?
I reckon you should be alright with it. and yes Logic 8 rocks hard.

im using mac os x tiguer 10.4.11 on my old pc for months...
my old pc specs:
P4 3200mhz
motherboard asrock
grafic card Nvidia Gforce 7600GT
2x 160GB ( 1 sata + 1 ide )
soundcard onboard (AC97)
everithing runs fine and i use logic pro 8.1 + reason 4.01 + reaktor 5
but for professional audio use i recomend a firewire sound card , becouse i get overload and midi/audio out of sync sometimes in logic , other softwares run fine but logic its more heavy for the soundcard
i prefer to use hackintosh in my old machine than XP , xp is more heavy
hackintosh runs smooth and very fast (even the net is faster)
