Had mine for about 18 months and then they start to split on both sides :eh:  , Apparently this happens with alot of these headphones, anyone else had this problem?

HIGHLY COMMON.. I hate those headphones anyway.. Best day was when my dog ate through the cord and I got a new pair of pioneers.

nor can i find pioneers compliants dept to complain about them.
yeah, mine got these too, but a friend of mine told me to put laces (is that the word?) around the hinges...that works pretty good.

bugger laces- here's what i came up with:

a bit of a bother, but seems rock solid. (and it looks relatively good)

From some various reviews I've read the Technics ones seem to be the way to go.
