Went to boot up myself one morning and received after BIOS check ---->
Primary Master Hard Disk Failure
Primary Slave Hard Disk Failure
Floppy Disk Failure
How gutted am I???
This basically means going by the error messages that both my hard drives have failed (one being only 6 months old - 60 Gig beauty!!!) and floppy disk drive have failed all over one night. It's not possible surely???
So stripped my p.c down and started playing about with it to see if my process of elimination i could see what the actual problem was if it wasn't hard drive failures. I was unable to access the hard drives but could be a fault with the IDE controllers on the motherboard or the actual floppy link cable inside the system unit... :eh:
I so hope my hard drives aint knackered coz i have about 40 Gig of work and muzic (mp3's, samples and everything) all my own produced from software e.t.c... and all my internet related programs, i am also a website builder/developer and am running websites from my p.c too and all the files for them are stored on my hard drives too...
absolutely devasted
anyone else experienced any problems like this before... any advise anyone? i just dont fancy the liklihood of spending a couple of hundred quid sorting this problem out now - lol
thanx :)
