Stay Up Forever label Collective
Autumn New releases and Re issues
-WAH WAH 21
STEVE MILLS AND D.A.V.E. THE DRUMMER available now at www.stayupforever.com (general release October 22)
‘Owsley Acid’ is a furiously paced acid techno romper from newcomer Steve Mills, which will get some plays at the squat parties in London in this winter and will raise some smiles with its Cheech & Chong sample.
This comes backed up with ‘You’re Only Old Once’ – co-produced with veteran D.A.V.E The Drummer, which obviously sounds a little tighter for it, as he helped coin the sound and genre all them years ago. K1 IDJ Magazine
-HYDRAULIX 38 DAVE THE DRUMMER & ANT available now at www.stayupforever.com
Dave The Drummer’s flagship label doesn’t release at the speed it once used to, but when the records do come around these days they are well worth sniffing out.
Here he teams up with Ant and on the A they go for a spaced out, uplifting vibe with an old school analogue feel.
On the B they take things a little harder with a real wonky edge to the lead synth which sounds ****ing fantastic and is sure to become a new favourite with the harder DJs this summer. K1 IDJ Magazine
- RE ISSUES OF:
-STAY UP FOREVER 86
RACKITT AND THE GEEZER “ACID MUSIC”
Fully loaded Acid Techno from 2006
-STAY UP FOREVER 82
DYNAMO CITY “BOMB IN YOUR ASS”
Another classic and much in demand release from Chris Liberator and D.A.V.E. the Drummer
