I did a search on the forum and didn't see any threads mentioning this, but Eric Persing from Spectrasonics has finally released the much anticipated Omnisphere, or Atmosphere 2 for those who are interested.
Features of the plugin can be found here: http://www.spectrasonics.net/omnisphere_teaser/explore.html
I'm contemplating in getting this, but even the upgrade itself from my previous version of Atmosphere is 200 USD, The plugin is not cheap by any standards, but I'm wondering if anyone has had the pleasure of using this? I stopped using Atmosphere last year when Spectrasonics didn't want to rewrite the entire plugin UB compatible and instead created a wrapper for it, which I found cumbersome to use at best. But I was impressed with its sounds though.
The arpeggiator on this thing looks pretty fascinating.
