Boxed, in superb condition, NS studio, no LIVE work.
Directly record your Guitar with built in HI.Z inputs, the software drivers also have a guitar tuner built in, so you can tune without needing to compromise your signal path.
Situations have used a US224 in (not THIS US224 btw honest!):
1. Sampling in a Junk Yard with a Shure SM58
2. Maintaining SPDIF Lock with another soundcard without problems
3. Sampling Analog synths like my Monopoly or Pro-1
4. Sending MIDI to my JV1080
5. Recording guitar via the DI
6.Used with Ableton, Logic, Cubase, Soundforge, Peak, Fruityloops, Windows Media Player, iTunes, VLC...bloody anything!
And in none of these occasions did it give me the slightest trouble. I still have another one, for which im glad. These are good soundcards and very very tough and reliable.
All latest driver software included. VISTA and LEOPARD OSX 10.5 compatible.
