Hello and welcome to the all-new Clubbed Up Radio. The show that has been broadcasting for nearly 9 years will now be available to download on iTunes each week as well as download links to promo’s such as this, ensuring you get your weekly hit to gear you up for the weekend.
Our first special guest on the show we have been huge fans of for many years…. Deepgroove!
In 2007, despite the huge competition facing them, Deepgroove were crowned “The Best British Breakthrough Dj” award by DJ Mag. Consistent touring across the world throughout the year whilst having a strong presence in all the major UK clubs saw them smashing over 90 gigs to a growing fan base have enabled them to be catapulted into the limelight and because a household name in the club scene.
But this recent award doesn’t make them a new act in dance music. Deepgroove have notched up 60 releases and remixes over the past 5 years on some of the most prestigious labels worldwide earning huge respect from major players from Steve Lawler to Carl Cox, Annie Mac to Fatboy Slim. The lads have a huge biography covering all they have done over the years, feel free to check it out if you haven’t been clued up on the lads yet. Their unique sound of club destroying, chemical rave music & electrifying techno always makes you sit up and listen, be sure this mix will blow the roof!
Taking control of the opening 45 minutes are your hosts Danny Roberts and the newest member of the team, James Burn. The lads have provided you with a live mix of the latest tunes out at the moment that are worth checking out, always a good thing for the musical anoraks out there. Expect a cross the range selection of stuff from deep house, minimal building it up to some tough gritty techno.
