After years of complaining from laptop users who simply couldn't afford to buy a desktop PC to place in a UAD-1/2 card, apparently they have come up with something called the UAD-2 Solo/Laptop which is essentially a card that can house the UAD plugins without having to purchase a PCI card.
Thought it might be interesting to those who were either interested in this, or are already using this. Personally, I have never used any of this, but I have heard great things about all of them.
Apparently a UAD-Quad/Laptop is now in the works which will allow the user to have power of up to 4 DSP cards placed into a single card.
