View Full Version : how do I make washy white noise synth stuff?

As used in loads in house, sort of josh wink style washy stuff used to flood the high frequencies with noise, or generally FX heavy white noisey synths to fill up the space at the top of a mix.

General synths or recommendations how to make atmospheric sounds to put in the upper frequencies of the mix? My mixes are always a bit bare up there, looking for advice on how to build or where to get atmospheric sounds to make tracks a little less static and build energy into them.

Cheeeeeeeeeers!

 i hate that. my cousin poured candle wax on my foot to wake me up after a heavy white widow sesh, it hurt the next day.

hmmm
Firebird is nice and lush and "Shushy" for top end lushness.
The Juno 106 was good for that kind of sound, shimmery white noisey pads.

Arturia - Minimoog does it for me, one of my fav synths to use atm.

You can create endless white noise fx, pads whatever you please...

Albino 3 has a killer white noise setting that you can apply to any patch
