Ok So im looking for a entry level large diofram mic - narrowed it down to 3 and was wondering if any of you have used/could reccomend any of the 3 i'm looking at. They are :
SE2200a
Rode NT1
Akg Perseption 120
i have used the se2200a and i must say its a good mic. but i have heard alot of good thing about the other 2 and can't decide. What do you guy's thjink is the best of the 3.

i use the se2200a in my home set-up for vocals and acoustic guitar and i havent a bad word to say about it. for the price its the pick of the bunch.

fair i use one at colege and it does sound nice just wondering how the others are as a bit cheeper - the rode gets a good write up to

Hmm, its hard to draw a direct comparison because each mic has its own character but the NT1 will give you a warm sound with clear detail (air) in the top end of the frequency spectrum (without being too sparkly). It makes a nice mic for recording male/deeper vocals and instruments with a lot of low-mids such as the guitar.
Only thing to bare in mind is that the NT1 has no pad switch and only one polar pattern (cardioid I believe) so this could limit its use in some respects.

Got my self the se2200a - ahhh i'm in love with my mic.............
