Stay Up Forever Remix

Cat: SUFR 40

Artists: Rozzer’s Dog / D.A.V.E. The Drummer

“The A.P. Remixes”

Format: 12” Vinyl and Digital MP3/ Wav

Welsh uber Acid Techno Junkie and killer producer of all things 303 A.P turns his attention to 2 classics from D.A.V.E. The Drummer.

Firstly an anthemic remix of the Stay Up Forever’s “Now I Am…” made originally with rock writer and sometimes house producer Kris Needs.

Secondly the Routemaster label favourite “Pump Dept” gets a 2009 overhaul with A.P. keeping the moody synth line to the forefront over tough 909 beats.

good on them for rinsing out the same track since 1995. I'm not sure many other labels can change the sample on the breakdown and ask another £6 for identical tunes and still get kids turning up to their parties.

I admire that.

Adey, if your talking about the "Pump Dept" mix, i was asked to keep most of the original parts but bring it up to date a little.

The mix of "SUF 59" is very different from the original.

JOB DONE.

I meant the original of Pump Dept, really fun to mix! Personally, I prefer the remix of Rozzer's Dog to the original, which is a rare thing..
