---------------------------------------------------
Since the early 90's, Chris has forged a successful career in both Dj'ing and promoting, starting by mixing hip hop and then later moving onto house and techno. Chris has always concentrated on the technical side of DJ'ing and his appearance at the UK DMC championships in 2001 is a fine example of his undoubted talent at the decks. After 2003 Chris made DJ'ing his full time occupation after being recognised as one of the most technically gifted DJ's on the scene. This has won him international acclaim and coveted residencies at Atomic Jam (Birmingham) and Decadence in Ghent (Belgium).
In 2001 Chris launched 'Flux', a series of London parties and a record label that would play host to big name DJ's such as Underground Resistance, Slam, Stacey Pullen and Octave One. This lead to a number of guest slots at techno nights across Europe which also helped him build his career as a DJ. In 2003, Chris and Andi hooked up with Ben Sims to form Split. Together they ran parties that shook up the capital and arguably kickstarted the techno scene in London again, booking a huge list of international artists like Derrick May, Dave Clarke, DJ Rush, Mark Broom, and many more, and gaining all time record crowds at Turnmills and The Key.
Chris has also been ever present as a radio broadcaster, an interest which developed early in his career. He hosted the Split Radio Show with Ben Sims for 3 years which gained worldwide popularity and 2009 saw his new radio project - a monthly show called 'The Drop' which he presents with Rebekah. This popularity and talent has lead to him playing sets for Radio 1, Galaxy FM and Power FM in Ireland. He is also about to be the face of Eq TV as their on-screen presenter.
Chris is keen not to attach himself to a particular style or sound and this is reflected in both his DJ'ing and production. As well as using his Flux imprint to release material for other artists such as Paul Woolford, Joey Beltram and Mark Broom, Chris has also used it as a platform for his own techno productions which have earned him recognition from a variety of DJ's around the world. Over the last year he has grown more prolific and is now a sought after remixer after his impressive reworks of 'Blown Your House Down' by a Guy Called Gerald and 'Got Me Working' by Mark Broom. He has a list more eagerly anticipated releases in the pipeline.
