AKAI APC40 & Ableton Suite 8 different?

Hi,

I'm looking at buying an AKAI APC40 and Ableton Suite 8 from the USA and getting it delivered here to the UK.
Does anybody know if they sell different versions of these products in America or are they exactly the same as what would be on the shelves here in the uk, if they are different then I would probably just buy from a uk store instead?

I bought Live 7 from the states and it's no different. As for hardware it will be a different power cable/setting. Not a clue if you can change the voltage or if you need to. Sorry, mate.

why you buying it from the US, cheaper I assume?

yep, although I hadn't taken Customs duty & import vat into account so Its looking like it will work out at about the same price now anyway.
