Has Atomic Jam's Techno always been this insipid?

I must be getting old or something.

I was expecting both CL and Brian Sanhaji to be banging as they've both released that sort of stuff, hell CL even released on Molecular which is one of my favourite labels. Just seems these people aren't playing hard techno now, it's some kind of laptop driven progressive minimal type shite. It's like listening to paint dry! "Mid-kick with rolling echo not sounding exciting enough?, add another white noise + long down sawtooth envelope sound FOR THE HUNDREDTH TIME!"

Most exciting bit of the night was watching CL having to stop his showboating for five minutes to flounder during a laptop fail.

Oh and in the past Rob Hood normally saves the night but I think the energy of the club was prenouced dead by the time he got on so he just didn't bother.

when a seen liebing play @ nature one he was boring - but brian sanhaji was good for the time of night (it was just starting) but i know what you mean with the sound, and nah no one really is playing hard techno - its either minimal or schranz

Nah,

Finke & Broom was my favourite set of the night. Bob gathered up as much of what he could after the void that Sanhaji & Liebing created.

Was on the balcony when Liebing had his Mac attack, I nearly fell over the edge due to the look on his face as his Trance floundering movements were halted so he could sort it out. haha

Had an amazing night! Thought Sanhaji & Liebing played wicked sets. Looked like everyone else was loving it too. Robert hood seemed to fizz out for me though. Roll on the next event!

Liebing was a disaster!

Although the noise that came out when his laptop crashed (Twice!) was pretty good.

I am hoping for some real techno at the next one!
