.fxb banks

Hi guys. Just wanted to know how do you create en empty preset banks for vst intstrumentys (fxb). I used to keep factory banks untouched. I tried to create totally empty file but it doesn't work.

cubase sx3 + hydra i.e , so each synth has diferent way?

yes every synth has its own preset menue. but in cubase i think (i¨m on ableton live and i don't use hydra) there should be a menue above the vsti plugin. it's at the same place, you select the presets. mostly, there is a button or menue who sais: new bank or new program. select new bank. enter a name save it. there you go. hope that helped. peace
