I can mate- for your money and for just mixing I would recommend a Kam CD deck. Well built and durable.
This one I would recommend first- £250 ish: KAM KCD MP 320.

KAM KCD MP 320 CD TURNTABLE + 5 FREE DANCE MUSIC CDS on eBay (end time 02-Dec-09 14:32:32 GMT) (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/KAM-KCD-MP-320-CD-TURNTABLE-5-FREE-DANCE-MUSIC-CDS_W0QQitemZ120488090451QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Mix ers?hash=item1c0da65b53)
then there is the MP300. Again, well built and tough and you'd pick one up for about £200 ish.

the only issue I had with them when I was looking at getting one was with the 300, it just felt a bit plasticy and cheap- (for what my local was trying to get me to pay for one back when they came out. tut tut)
