View Full Version : What's your limit on paying for second hand tunes?
I just considered paying 40 quid for Acid Air Raid, it was 70 quid elsewhere. They had 1 solar quest tune going for 242 quid!!
Which made me wonder, who the f*ck pays over 200 quid for a tune???
What's your limit (I probably will by it for 40 notes, it's quite alot for 1 track, but it is Acid Air Raid, so I reckon it's worth it)

Pretty much this. But paying 250 notes for a vinyl is insane, you'ld just get it out of the sleeve in reverence instead of banging it on a TT

i paid £27 for elements of life by the advent and then discovered discogs and saw it for £10! I was still able to look on the bright side tho - i now have the record i wanted and also know where to get any tune i know the name of and it's usually affordable. I wouldn't pay more than £20 for a tune these days but you rarely need to. i wouldn't pay any extra for an original release than for a rerelease either - as long as it's the tune i want and the mix i want and it's on vinyl im happy.

Around the £20 mark. Although have strayed slightly over it in the past but have managed to pick most things for around the price even the rarer stuff.

My company has for the at least the last 4 years underpaid the staff because it was using an incorrect formula. This amounts to about £20 per day and I wonder just how far back it is possible to claim

as far back as you have been underpaid. you worked for that money, you are entitled to that money.
