HOW many Lemurs?
Can't say I'm his biggest fan, but he's definitely on the bleeding edge!

Surely the stuff he plays these days doesn't merit that amount of controllers?
Unless there's one Lemur for the kik, one for the snare, one for the h-hats etc.

much as I love to mock the scrawny, Ryvita eating, minimal inbreeds this is the setup for the new plastikman tour right?
he still kills it as plastikman

Yes, this is the current Platikman tour.
That vid is pretty impressive. A few too many people recording it on their camera phone for my taste...

Does it? Does it really?
Anyway... music taste aside, it's wicked to see people pushing the boat out with technology.

I don't understand how people who like techno can dislike stuff like this:
YouTube - Plus 8 Records Richie Hawtin Substance abuse (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DG3qY7DvC_Y)
Some of hawtin's stuff is noodly, but some of it is techno at its rawest.

One of the best tracks ever IMO.
Most of his Minimal stuff is guff though.
Did some nice ambient pieces in the early - mid nineties.
