Monitor question.

I'm gonna get some Alesis m1 mk2 soon for my pc but I also want to play my cd player through them.
What device will I need to do this.I dont want to keep disconnecting the leads from my pc everytime I want to listen to a cd.

or you could just get a basic mixing desk (or more advanced one if your into production or getting into it) and put ur cd player thru a channel on that?

hehe or you can listen to a cd on your pc :-p many really cheap mixing desks out there too so u can hook up multiple computers or whatever u've got

use one of the line outs on your mixer

me mixer and decks are in another room.
Basically I was after some device with a few inputs for jack leads and a output to the speakers.Something cheap.

with the cheap factor, you are inevitably going to get lower sound quality arn't you? And you wouldn't wanna waste all that good quality, thats why you bought the monitors in the first place?
