OUT TODAY!! Simon Owen - Semitone Shuffle - [ETK034]
Simon Owen - Semitone Shuffle - w/Rmxs From D'FunK/Nikkolas Research/Macgregor
https://www.beatport.com/en-US/html/content/release/detail/344165/Semitone%20Shuffle
Already Downloaded/Supported: Luciano, John Selway, Morgan Tomas, Nils Karajan, Tom Hades, Anderson Noise, Gemma Furbank and many more...
...
Simon Owen, head man at Xe-tech-no brings a single to our attention. Dark atmospheres, crisp percussion, sparkling hats and a cool rolling percussion carrying the track. Add deep bass and a tough kick and there you have it, Minimal Techno!
On remix duties are new comer, MacGregor adding his own twist, keeping all the elements of the original but adding a synth stab which gels nicely.
Next up is Nikkolas Research, again, keeping the original elements but adding his trademark glitch synth sound he has made himself know for here at Elektek.
Last up we have Elektek head man, D'FunK. He again keeps the lead perc element but takes it on a more twisted journey. Raising the pitch up and down and using more atmosphere sounds to make it slightly more dark and chilling.
Enjoy, Elektek!
