Software audio wire???

Im sure ive read somewhere about a little prog like this. Basically i want to record completely internally within my pc, so for instance - take the ouput of media player, and record it with wavelab. Does anyone know any progs to do this?

yes - software called virtual audio cable

most soundcards have a mixer router now tho so u can just send everything to the monitor mixer and route as need be

Yep "virtualwire" (or live wire or what ever it's called) is for example include with the "top" ego -sys soundcards... But I guess if u look around u'll be able 2 find some sort of third-party freeware utility just 4 this!
