Coma returns with Olympic spirit after the 12 Hour Easter Special, which saw Mike Parker, Bas Mooy, Roberto and Doubleffe smash The C.A.M.P. Basement!
On Friday the 22nd of June 2012 we will bring you some of the best techno artists London has to offer.
It will be a night to enjoy and celebrate together the freshest techno talents/artists of the city who one day will be "champions" and represent London and its sound around the UK and why not, the world!
Line-up:
The Clairvoyants [Rinse FM - London, UK]
http://www.facebook.com/TheClairvoyants
The Clairvoyants are a trio of London-based DJs who are currently mostly renowned for their weekly underground Techno show on London’s infamous legal radio station Rinse 106.8 FM, Sunday’s 0200 GMT which they have held down since 2008.
Being fully committed to making the show and their brand of music known the world over but also sharing their platform with many other artists within the Techno scene has only helped increase The Clairvoyants’ reputation.
Generator 9 [Techno Therapy Records - London, UK]
http://www.facebook.com/Generator9
Last time Generator 9 played in London was at Electric Brixton for Electric Deluxe's April Weekender in London with Marcel Fengler, Marcel Dettmann and Speedy J.
Founder of the imprint Techno Therapy Records with releases featuring the likes of Pig & Dan, Perc and Darko Esser, Generator 9 is definitely shaping the face of London's techno scene with his productions and sets. One to watch!
XI [Slash Dot Dash - London, UK]
http://www.facebook.com/pages/XI/150228935036440
Following his debut at Fabric neighbour bar Raduno, stand out sets at some of London’s top venues such as Fabric, The Brixton Academy, Unit 7, Egg, The Key, The Cross, Turnmills, SEOne, Corsica Studios, AKA, East Village, The Aquarium, Public Life, Herbal, Hidden, Cafe 1001 and The Rhythm Factory for promotions like Lost Souls, Wet Yourself, Temba, Prologue, Heat UK, Zombies Ate My Brain, Nubreedz, Space, Twisted Audio have seen XI weaving his dark dancefloor dervish of distorted disco destruction around the city of London and in various locations around the UK including Brighton, Bristol, Norwich, Nottingham and his home town of Chelmsford. Outside of the UK he's racked up sets in Mannheim, Germany and Barcelona, Spain.
In 2010 he launched his own promotion, called Slash Dot Dash. Initially putting on parties with the likes of Sandwell District, Redshape, Traversable Wormhole, Samuli Kemppi, Milton Bradley and more, a blog soon followed and finally a podcast series. With a burgeoning production career under the name Kontort further cementing his holdings, the sound of the underground he subsribes to is gathering more and more fans at every turn.
Doubleffe [Coma, Roasted Recordings - London, UK]
