Mixer question

i think ive asked this b4 but cant find the topic,

is it worth my while getting a mixing desk unless ive got outboard gear to put thru it? cant i still connect the output on my soundcard to the desk and still use it to alter the channels in my sequencer etc? jsut a little confused thats all

yes, if you have a multiple output soundcard... if not, then don't bother...
