I wouldnt recomend using a bpm counter if your learning coz itll be hard wen u play somewhere without. (and its cheating  )

try these b stock vestax bargain (http://www.turnkey.co.uk/tkweb/stockdetail.jsp?sku=VEST-PDX2000&context=BSTOCK)

i do prefer techys but this is a good deal on TT.

also i agree that DO NOT use a bpm counter.....use you ears, much more accurate at getting the beats "on top" of each other....bpm couner just tells you the tempo....the 2 beats could still be out of sync.....

but www.decks.co.uk ARE cheaper than them for techys on ther own so id imagine the package would be slightly cheaper aswell...

I pretty much always use www.decks.co.uk .... 2 techys wi needles for 670...with FREE next day delivery.

They will be cheaper than htfr 99% of the time.

yeh if you want vestax rather than techys then it looks good........it is a REALLY good mixer for aggressive mixing, the faders are up to the job so if you want to get into skratching etc then you can.

I PREFER 1210'S THE PITCH SEEM TO BE MORE STIFF WHICH I THINK IS BETTER!!

i dont really understand all this with turntables they all play the same speeds with a pitch control so whats all the difference with them all :?:

Each deck has a completly different feel, also different decks have different motor strength, pitch controll & different features.

Before choosing a deck id personally recomend that you have a go on one of the ones your thinking of buying.

M8 dont buy those decks, spend the extra couple hundred quid and get yourself a set of techys. Your more than likely regret it after a year or so.
But it is what ever you feel most comfortable with. Personlly id recomend Techys.
