You's have probably had this question a million times but im fairly new to this forum.

You've got 2k to spend, what hardware would anyone recommend.

From drum machines to synths- anything?

ive been told that the JOMO-XBASE09 is ideal for some bangin' techno also the ROLAND MC 909 SAMPLING GROOVEBOX.

do you have a sequencer or computer already? PC or MAC?
If no sequencer then I suppose an mpc would do you fine for a sampler and sequencer...
do you expect to do livePAs? or just write in your bedroom?
all kinds of synths out there...soft and hard.

id go for summin like an mpc for seq/drum machine.

access virus/nord lead for synth..

but then you wont have much/any for mixing desk etc...

do you have any kit just now???or are you starting from skratch?.

id get the most powerful computer you can afford and the best monitors you can afford . then get all the software you can download and go from there . hardware is nice but not essential
