good news for fellow arm chair supporters

It has been confirmed that 88 matches from the Barclays Premiership will be shown live on Sky Sports next season.
It follows the announcement that an auction for other broadcasters to buy six to eight live matches a season had ended without any bids reaching the reserve price.

That auction had been requested by the European Commission.

A new three-year contract for live Premiership football begins in August. Under its current deal, Sky Sports shows 66 live games. The new contract allows more live games - with 88 all on Sky Sports.

Piss all really

I'd guess around 30 live matches, each team are supposed to be gaurenteed so many matches live but Burnley were only on once last season while the likes of Norwich Wigan Forrest etc were all on 3 orr more times.

I think thats out of order by Sky :rambo:
