It's in its early stages so the final mix will probably sound nothing like this...

What do you think, any elements in there you think I should remove?

The synth at 1.30 sounds a bit too overkill. I think I will take that out

 Well into this one.
im so stupid. i downloaded the first link instead of the second.
anyway, sounding pretty good. your right about the synth at 1.30 though, although im sure u have already got rid. its not the best track ive heard from yourself, but that doesnt necessarily mean its bad. give me a new synth. i will check the updated version when i have a little more time.

Cheers Dan, I will work on this more when I have the desk up and running again. It’s all done on the pc without any hardware  which has started to make me rethink my strategy a little. I think there’s room for some more hi hats

Totally agree with Dan's comments - any chance of a completed version by June 11th ;)

Nice. Just let me know
sounds much better, nice n dark, almost carries an acidic feel. im not too keen on the sound that enters at 00.50 though, that apart its very good, love the sound that enters late on the break too.

Had a bit of break from this...

Not really used to sub b lines, like that. If it sounds out in anyway it would be nice to know. I am going to burn this off and try it on a few different setups now.
Started this too, just listened back and noticed that some of the synths are in the the wrong key, you get the idea tho...

the first one is as good as ever, the bassline seemed ok to me but my speakers dont pick up alot of sub bass. i still love that sample
as for the second tune i dont really like the synth's at the start but i love the percussion pattern that come's in later
