hey people..

if you had produced something worthy of getting a release and you wanted a remix (i'd say this is a common thing to do in "harddance" and not really techno) but ...

what wold you need to supply the remix party???

Individual files etc of every sound you've used???

Sorry if its a stupid question - just interested as i have no ide

Thanks in Advance ;)

Best thing is to have all the audio files/ loops + the Sequencer file aswell (Cubase/ logic etc...)... and of course a copy of the original track!

This kinda varies from remixer 2 remixer... a lot of people can even go from just the original track... but at the very least try and supply also the samples/ loops!

Preferabley separated out as much as possible
And Sequencer Files.
And BPM!!

so if you had a loop and when you just wanted to use it as one "loop" as opposed to other bits that may be added into it - well i renderd it all! this now make it vey akward to alter unless you revert backl to the original, but takes loads less space on the scree of the pc monitor.. doooh i think that makes sense!

Cheers anyway - i'll get there - its so much fun, harldy picked a chewn up all weekend! :!: :?: :!:

steve did you get my pm?
