    Default Sampling

As I realy want the typical Hardstyle sound and having alot of trouble get that sound, ive decided that i wanna sample a hardstyle record for its bassline.

Would u sample even though ya had the means to make kicks and stuff like that?

I would sample but i would add my own little touches, i.e effects etc to give my own feel to it.

personally mate i dont reckon u should sample if youve got a nice selection of vsti's, just keep tweaking and you`ll find your sound.

The problem with sampling short sounds like that is, when you get to a certain pitch the lengh of the sample reduces so that it's shorter than the lower pitched notes, and dosn't sound too good in my opinion.

Yeah, but if you change the decay and sustain on the sample it usually sounds slightly better :)
