    Default HELP! Traktor problems

    Hi...

I'm having problems with Traktor 2.5.1 i'm running it on a brand new pc: 1.7 Ghz AMD Athlon XP2200, 120GB 7200 drive, 512MB PC2700+128MB PC2100 Ram, SoundBlaster 1024 sound card with live drive, its all linked upto a djm 600 a couple of pdxA-1s an some cd decks, although i'm not using the decks to control Traktor.

The pc runs great with all programs but Traktor.

What happens is every now and then during a mix the audio hangs for a second or randomly jumps out of time, its not even when i'm adjusting the tempo or anything it can do it when nothing else is going on except a track is playing.

I've made sure nothing else is running in the background, i've disconected the internet, scanned for viruses even de-fragged the hard drive...no joy!

If any one has any ideas i'd be glad to hear them as its got me stumped...

    Cheers Jay.

Well, to me it sounds like your buffer is loosing sync. I havent used traktor in ages, but if you look in the options, you should be able to select your sound driver. Try the different ASIO settings, if this doesnt help, switch it onto the soundcard driver, and then turn the latency down on the buffer.
