    Default Error message!! ASIO overload -

    Hi there,

    hope someone can help me.
    I am running logic and I get the following error message:

    ASIO overload cannot process required data in time: MEssage# 10011" or something.

    Standard P4 PC and WIn XP

    ANy ideas?

    It means that the soundcard drivers are having problems processing all the audio data coming out of Logic. I used to get this message in Logic when I'd piled too many plugins on top of each other, as there is a limit to how many u can use, dependent on how fast the machine is.

    Also, close all other programs running in ther background, and check for driver updates for the soundcard, in order to squeeze that last little bit of power out of the chip.

    Also, if using XP, right click on My Computer, select properties, click the Advanced tab, performance settings, a new window opens, select Advanced Tab in the new window, and where it says processor scheduling, select background services. This gives priority to the drivers over everything else.

    Also try enlarging yer asio buffer just 2 check if it helpz a bit!
