This is one of the work ethics behind DirtyBass Records.
    Solitary by nature.
    Isolation is the gift.
Does anyone have courage to stand apart any more?

yeah some of the basslines in the Dirtybass tracks are ****ing monsterous, but smooth at the same time. i think using samples/noises from other genres is getting more popular these days, music is getting a lot more "**** it ...that sounds good, whack it in there" other than sticking to certain rules....it just makes music more interesting!

i love techno with hella bass, but it has to be original. remember speed garage? the same dub bassline played over a house beat over and over and over? no thanks.

do we remember it?! mate, the main sort of music they play in 95% of the bars in birmingham IS speed garage. that little microcosm of music. the guys in my old record shop sell bad bootlegs at £10 a pop to the scally kids. like selling them crack!!!
