    Default Bass and kick of Hard Techno

    Hey guys .... I need some help .... I´m trying to make a kick and a bass of a Hard Techno music and i can´t make it power !!!!! Please , how to do it ??!!!

    try distortion,reverb(sparingly)EQ,turn it up into the red(OWCH!! who just slapped my hand?)layering different kicks,have a realy good bassline,choose good sounds,sample somone elses(SLAP!!owch who keeps doin that)
    Im no expert but get perty good results .

    apart from compression (which is a vital ingredient) but, put a distortion over the kick and bass, then just play with that...im sure you will get some crunchy sounds goin on!

    good eq
    distortion diffuses the sound a bit, and actually makes it lose it`s percussive impact.

    You can keep some of the impact by using distorion as a send effect, rather than an insert, letting you find a good middle ground between punch & filth.
