    Thank you!

I know what you mean but there's hard house nights in leeds I like to give demos out at and you gotta give people a bit of what they like. I have a mix for all eventualities and you have to admit as far as hard house goes it isn't bad hard house. Sounds ultra fat on my system.

If I was being self indulgent all the time I'd stick to pure techno but if you don't mess around with other styles you don't learn anything.

Variety is king really because you can't please everyone all the time but if you're paid to do a gig then it's your job to try.

AcidTrash 7 is probably more to your tastes.

    Cheers,

    Pete.

I've had all these mixes in rotation in my playlist (along with a few dozen other mixes) for the past month.

I'll give anyone's mix a listen, but 90% of mixes get faded and deleted after a single play. These Acidtrash mixes have lasted a month so far, with no sign of them getting faded any time soon.

why not play what you like and see if people like it? or do you want to be a superstar? all this "london acid" sounds like hard house anyway.

I like a handful of hardhouse records. Granted they're not the intellectual peak of dance music but I'm not that clever when I've had 3 pills and a line of speed in me so I'll take whatever's banging.

I love DJ's who vary their style anyway. A full set of any one style is usually piss boring. It's not about wanting to be a superstar, it's about bringing other music styles into the mix. Loads of hardhouse fans have told me how I got them into acid techno and vice versa. I'm hoping to get the message accross that there's no such thing as bad genres just bad artists. Anyone who'll write off an entire genre of music based on their limited perspective of it can get to f*ck really.
