    Default Buying from america

Was looking at maybe buying either a technics sldz or pioneer cdj1000. Whats the situation with tax, shipping and stuff.
The voltage change shouldn't be a problem at all. Just get myself a transformer or maybe the technics will have a voltage selection anyway.

All comments will be most helpfull.

its a bloody good time to buy from the US with this exchange rate.. :)
best thing to do is when you buy somthing ask them to put that its a repaired product return or somthing on the customs label.
If you are vat registered though you can claim the customs charge back.
Postage is weighty and a little slow sometimes but you can still save a good chunk of money.
    jimmah!
