not bad mate, love the percs and synths but again something about teh kick and bass that doesnt grab me, the bass is near enough one continous note and the kick feels a bit flat to me, and doesnt sit well with the bass either...

the mix sounds a touch flat as a whole too but nothing that cant b fixed im sure
    upcoming releases : Templ8r 1, Advanced 025, Humanoid 7, Emetic 013 - www.djscottgray.co.uk

    Thanks for the listen man
I have thought about changing the bass but more for other reasons that what you have said.... it's probably the nature of the sound I used because on my system it definetly pumps/throbs, and is sidechained to the kick.

I may hock it for a straight subby boomy kick altogether. It will probably do the trick for this style of track.

Thanks mate... did you check version 3 or 4?
I'm sticking with version 3 for the bass methinks... it is the one I liked better, and talking it over with Steve I feel it gives it more of the flow I was looking for, whereas version 4 is a bit more in your face.. driving.

Both work the sub just as much tho

i like the bass in this version. sweeter with less rumble. also digging the groovy hi-hats.

the mix is a bit quiet, but i don't know if you've mastered it yet or not...

    cheers

Thanks mate - no its not mastered yet in that regard.

I just need to pop a limiter up and get rid of a couple peaks so I can normalize it properly... just haven't done so yet heh

    ;)
