Been using it for a while now. It kicks ass. Somethings they have changed are a bit annoying at first, but you get used to it. It does hammer your cpu a hell of a lot more than the 4.5 tho. I used to be able to get 20 ms latency on 4.5, i cant get below 50 on this without it underunning to ****...

Unfortantely, with fruity, it has all been written on original bad code from the first fruity version 1, which was nothing more than a loop tool. Since then it has grown and grown, without too much of a major overhaul at base of the program. They should really do a complete rebuild for version 6, including new sound engine and completely new GUI for it imo. Giving it a more profesional look and sound could really make a lot of people respect it more...

only just upgraded to v5 a couple of weeks ago

its still a killer on my cpu

but im liking the addition of automation clips, making it a bit more 'cubase-ey', also i imagine it will reduce the amount of vst's i need to load

other than that its fairly similar, but the sytrus synth is what its all about for me, now ive got the full version as opposed to the demo, coz mosta my tunes are all about big saw leads ;) in my last track i used this layered with vanguard for the main lead and it sounded lovely
    from the monoceros/adm records stable

    i am awesome
