i urge you to check the cygnus vst posted back a page or two;

it's capable of insane pad sounds (horror, eerie, etc. etc.)

Had this synth before but forgot about it...

now that i have stumbled over it again i think it has some remarkable presets, esp. for dark stuff/techno whatever. it is very tweakable as well.

looks pretty synthedity and it almost put me off :hihi: , but to me the sounds it creates are spot on for my sound and i am very glad i tried it.

so plz give it a shot as it hasn't been mentioned here yet..

Miffi




Miffi employs a variant of "DSF synthesis" which uses complex number arithmetic to generate comb filtered stereo signals. By morphing between two DSF parameter sets, Miffi is capable of synthesizing a wide variety of sounds and effects.

Noized SineX v1.0

It uses 4 sine waves added and/or combined via fm synthesis modulated by lfos/envelopes and a builtin sequencer. This is outputed into a filter or directly to the fx section. There you got a flanger->stereo delay->reverb combi.

PS: Play with randomizing the preset, for example with the FL randomizer in the preset list.

StringZ

A full bank of 128 presets are provided as well as a short handbook in pdf form to help you to come to terms with its unconventional architecture. PAN-OH!-RAMA



Pan-Oh!-Rama is a 6-stage modulation effect using multiple waveform LFO's with FM routing and smoothing. It also uses two filterbanks offering 2p/4p LP, 2p/4p HP, 2p BP and 2p BR filters. Pan-Oh!-Rama can either be run tempo synced to the host application or with a manual tempo setting. The LFO's can be gate trigged allowing the LFO's to be restarted by a note-on MIDI message.
