Playing with that one right now, sparked my interest yesterday.. Do you know if you can record envelopes with stormgate 1 as well? guess that's limited to stormgate 3?

Yep, i've also tried to find where you can record envelopes and couldn't find it...
anyway it's the best free gate plugin i've tried so far. I'm not a gate guy myself but try to route it after a white noise or a sinewave and you got a mini-drum machine :)

Who are you on k-v-r? I read that drummachine post there as well and it sounds cool! I also got my question answered by aldo, the feature is part of sg3 and not (yet) planned for the free version. I suppose if you bug him too he might rethink it :)

Unify



Marcus Clef has released Unify, a hardknee compressor made with Synthedit.

Unify includes a 6 bands post-compression coloration tool which acts like an EQ but on fixed frequencies with limited gain range. The Vu-meter is still under construction but is fully functional. It will probably be updated soon.

Little critters



Little critters is a simple VSTi created with SynthEdit that has eight different sounds of insects, which can be mixed and manipulated.

Features

* pitch, pan and volume controls per insect
* mute buttons for easy sound selection
* 4 filters (selection of LP/HP/BP/BR for each filter)
* simple adsr envelope
* dry/wet controls

This VSTi is more of a toy than anything else, but you might enjoy playing with it. Little critters was only tested on FLStudio, so if you encounter any bugs or strange behavior let me know and I’ll see if I can fix it.

Update: v0.22 available. I see little reason for Little critters to be polyphonic and since it saves a lot of CPU it is now monophonic.

JB Barricade is a simple yet effective brick wall limiter. The gain ride curve is very smooth and its time derivative is continuous, to ensure minimum distortion and aliasing artefacts. The drive knob adjusts the signal level before entering the limiter.

A variable saturation knob provides continuous morphing between the behavior of a classical limiter (zero softclipping) and a classical (soft)clipper (100% softclipping).

U-NO-60



The U-NO-60 vst plugin is a polyphonic virtual analogue synth with a unique filter sound. An original JUNO 60 is used as reference for the oscillators and filters.
Like the original, the plugin is capable of self-resonance and thus could be used to some degree as a tone generator.
The filter section also features controls for envelope amount and polarity, LFO modulation and keyboard tracking. In addition, a non-resonant highpass filter is provided to thin out lower frequencies.

The U-NO-60, notwithstanding, few parameters, can make a wide range of different and
exciting sounds.
